A good, profusely rosewood crossbanded, mahogany case with swan neck pediment and reeded trunk quarter columns.

Dial:

13” breakarch painted dial with moonphases to arch

Movement:

4 pillar hourly ( rack ) striking

 
Maker:

Thomas Strange of Banbury recorded in Market place 1823 – 53.
Repaired the Adderbury church clock and maintained it until 1866.
Improved the Bodicote church clock in about 1843.Made the Sibford Gower church clock in 1841
