Typical late 18C high quality “LONDON” Cuban flame mahogany case with detachable pagoda top.Typical London two step shaped panel base.The brass insert reeded trunk quarter columns with brass capitals and feet.

Dial: 12” breakarch early painted dial with raised gesso corner spandrels, and moonphases to arch.Subsidiary dials for seconds and date.


Movement:

High quality 4 pillar movement with constant gear drive to moonwork.

Signed John Robinson London across the backplate which is an unusual feature for longcases but common with bracket clocks
