Case: Superb flame mahogany case with boxwood stringing and fretted top.  
Dial: 13" breakarch painted dial with rocking ship automaton to arch, seconds and date  
Movement: 8 day movement with rare pull wind (ting tang) on two additional bells. 1/4 repeat. Hourly (rack) striking.
N.B. A moon phase clock known by him "striking on two bells".
 
Maker: Hill, Bristol. Joseph Hill recorded 1840-42.
