Herbert of London Bridge (London).This is Cornelius junior who was
apprenticed to his father of the same name in 1690, joined the
Clockmakers Company in 1700, and rose to become Master of the
Clockmakers Company in 1727.He died in 1751.He is recorded as “a
fine maker” and a longcase clock by him featured in the famous
Wetherfield Collection. |
