ANTIQUE Longcase Oak Archive CLOCKS

'Antique Oak Longcase Archive Clocks' have used oak for longcase clock case production from inception to the present day, and housed the entire range of movement/dial types but was really only used as carcass wood for the London examples. So London maker + oak case is highly suspect, though lacquered cases were sometimes in such bad condition that the lacquer work was removed completely, leaving the case as undecorated but original to the movement. Constructional details identify such.
