Case Well proportioned long door plain oak case with flat top. Hood pillars integral with door.
Dial 12" square brass dial with silvered chapter ring, cast urn spandrels, finely matted dial centre, subsidiary seconds dial and square date box above 6 o'clock position.Name on applied cartouche to dial centre.Blued cut steel hands.
Movement Good quality 4 pillar movement with hourly ( rack ) striking and pull hour repeat.
Maker Geo ( George ) Green of Cirencester recorded " Near the Bell in Cricklade St" also "Opposite the Kings Head".Moved to Cirencester in 1750. Died in Oxford 1762.
