Case A well proportioned parquetry star inlaid, long door oak case with, reeded quarter columns to trunk, floating hood columns, flat top with fretted frieze under all set on bracket feet and having good colour with rich patination.
Dial 12" square brass dial with finely matted dial centre, penny moon, inverted age of moon lunette mirroring the date lunette below. "Floating" half hour markers to chapter ring, rococo spandrels, blued cut steel hands.
Movement Good quality 30 hour movement with 4 knopped pillars. Hourly ( countwheel ) striking on a single bell.

Date Late 18thC. Dating by style circa 1775.
