Case A particularly good, small, neat, long door, flat top, "country mahogany" case with red "silk" backed fret, "pillars attached" hood door, matching rear hood quarter columns, and raised panel to base. Warm, rich colour and patination.Short enough to fit into a low ceilinged room with no loss of proportion.
Dial 12" square brass dial with engraved and silvered centre, subsidiary seconds dial, large "sad mouth" date indicator, cast brass rococo spandrels, signed to lower chapter ring Henry Deeme Honiton. Blued cut steel hands.
Movement Good quality 8 day movement with 4 knopped pillars and hourly ( rack ) striking.
