Very good rich colour. All set on typical “London” two step base. | |
| Dial | 12” breakarch brass dial with moonphases to arch, finely matted dial centre, subsidiary seconds dial, cast brass rococo spandrels, square date box and strike/silent at 3 o’ clock position. Signed William Jourdain London to “rainbow” in arch. Blued cut steel hands. | |
| Movement | High quality 5 pillar, 8 day movement with tee shaped front plate supporting geared drive to moonphases in arch, strike/silent facility, hourly and half hourly ( passing ) strike, pull hour repeat, brass strip pendulum, and brass bound weights. An exceptional movement. | |
