Case Small, pretty, well proportioned, mahogany case with Corinthian Capitals to hood columns, canted reeded corners to trunk, inlays, inlaid stringing and crossbanding.Shell inlaid trunk door,raised crossbanded and strung base panel, swan neck pediment, shallow bracket feet.
Dial Early "Wilson" 12" breakarch painted dial with moonphases to arch, subsidiary seconds dial, "sad mouth" date aperture and raised gilt gesso borders to delicately flower painted corner spandrels.Finely cut, punch decorated, brass hands.
Movement Good quality 8 day movement with 4 knopped pillars.Hourly ( rack ) striking on a single bell.
