Case Good, long door, dark blue/gilt chinoiserie case with breakarch top, typical two step base. The detail featuring figures in gardens and a mythical cat like beast. Side windows to hood.
Dial 12" breakarch brass dial with early "starry sky" moonphases to arch, matted dial centre, subsidiary seconds dial and square date box.Signed to "rainbow" at top of arch Henry Harrison London."Floating" half hour marks and "tramlines" to silvered chapter ring.Cast brass urn spandrels. Blued cut steel hands.
Movement Good quality, hourly ( rack ) striking, 8 day, movement.
