Case | Richly coloured mahogany bell top case with caryatids to front door corners, cast rococo feet, side handles, flambeau finials and side frets. Finely pierced top cresting. | |
Dial | Finely matted dial centre, cast rococo spandrels, centre sweep date, strike/silent dial to arch. Silvered chapter ring, strike/silent ring and name cartouche. | |
Movement | Very high quality 8 day, 6 pillar, triple fusee, quarter chiming on a nest of eight bells with separate hour bell. Original verge escapement and fully engraved backplate. Pull quarter repeat. | |
